New Menu Items: Reimagining Comfort Food

Winter is coming. Our winters might not be ages long like they are in Game of Thrones, but they are still the longest, dreariest months of the year. That is why comfort food was invented. We pride ourselves at being masters of comfort, but wanted to shake it up a little bit. This winter, come by Sunny Street Café to try out six new menu items sure to keep you warm and happy throughout the dreary winter season.

Every item is made with our tender loving care, from scratch, homemade, and ridiculously scrumptuous. Especially the French Toast Sandwich. Yes, you heard me right. French. Toast. Sandwich. Sign me up.

For breakfast, guests can now order the Low Country Benedict: buttermilk biscuits, homemade pimento cheese, and hand-breaded fried chicken, topped off with two poached eggs and sausage gravy. New Coffee Crumb muffins are a delicious twist on coffee cake- fluffy and moist with a streusel topping. The crème de la crème are the Cinnamon Roll Pancakes: big-as-the-plate buttermilk pancakes with a cinnamon-sugar swirl in the middle, topped with maple cream drizzle and cinnamon butter.
Lunch-goers also have three new items to choose from. The French Toast Sandwich is thick sliced french toast with grilled ham, turkey, Swiss, a side of homemade berry jam, and served with maple syrup. Homemade pimento cheese and candied bacon tops our chargrilled Angus burger to make the Pimento Bacon Cheeseburger. The Black Bean Chorizo Chili comes fully loaded with pico de gallo, cheddar, tortilla strips, and cilantro sour cream. This one is spicy!

Stop by any of our locations from December through the end of March to taste our spin on comfort.
