Meet the Server: Steven Sowers

A proud born and bred native of Columbus, OH, Steven has more than 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry. Steven likes working at Sunny Street, and, in his own words, “we’re not just slinging eggs around here- we do it right.” I couldn’t agree more. So here’s your chance to get to know the guy behind the great smile!

MEET THE SERVER: STEVEN SOWERS

What sports do you like?

• OSU football- that’s my team. I was raised in Columbus, it’s kind of in my blood. Ohio State, is, well, Ohio State. I even turned my rec room into a sports themed man cave and have my friends over to watch the games with me (there’s even dance lights!)

 
What are some of your hobbies?

• Gardening. In the summer I have a beautiful vegetable garden, it’s my alone time. I know it’s more work, but to me it’s relaxing.

What is your favorite music?

• I’m a Top 40 kind of guy. Retro 70s-80s Top 40 songs are all on my Spotify, from classic rock to punk, it all depends on my mood. I grew up in the 80s, so I used to try and stay away from 70s music, but now it’s kind of nostalgic for me.

 
What is your favorite movie?

• I like all kinds of movies, and don’t even have a particular favorite genre. I grew up in the 70’s and 80’s, so, perhaps that era I’m a bit more inclined to.
