Fast Break: Eggs, The Uber Of Body Nutrition

It’s morning. You hit snooze (at least 6 times), drag yourself out of bed, do your normal morning routine, shovel down some cereal and off you go. But you’re probably hungry by mid-morning, no? Just eating plain old cereal could be the culprit. Eating eggs for breakfast will give you better, sustained mental and physical energy throughout the day and get you started right. How, you might ask?
Well, our bodies can’t produce the complete proteins that we need to function, so getting it through meat or via a balanced vegetarian diet is essential. Or through eggs: at about 25¢ a serving, eggs are the cheapest way to get great protein.
Not only do eggs have complete protein; they also have all the essential amino acids. Without getting into the nitty-gritty scientific stuff, amino acids can help stop body fat build-up and upgrade your immune system.
Eggs are also rich in choline, which is a super weird word, but it’s incredibly important for your body’s cells- they help transport nutrients throughout your body. They’re like the Uber of body nutritional management. Cool, huh?
So when you reach for that bowl of cereal, crack an egg and cook one up instead. It will keep you going longer and your body will thank you for it.
