Thank You- We Collected Over 1,000 Diapers for Charity

When our newest restaurant opened up in Polaris, we kick started a fundraising campaign for the Columbus Diaper Coalition. The Columbus Diaper Coalition works to end diaper need in Franklin County by distributing diapers through 18 different Columbus area food pantries and social service organizations (like Fruit of the Vine and Broad Street Pantry). Since they began in 2013 they have distributed more than half a million, yes, that’s right, 500,000 diapers. That’s a lot of diapers!
On June 29th we had our official ribbon cutting ceremony with members of the Chamber of Commerce and presented a check to the Coalition. We are so amazed that our community helped us raise $2,000 for this fantastic charity! They also helped us collect over 1,300 diapers as well.
Iris Coker, the founder, told us that they have a deal with Pampers where instead of about 19¢ per diaper, they can get them at cost for 2¢. That means with $2,000 they can get almost 100,000 diapers for families in need in Franklin County.
THANK YOU for helping us support the Columbus Diaper Coalition.
