Happy Veterans Day!

At the 11th hour, of the 11th day, of the 11th month, a cease fire was agreed upon in the Great War, (World War I) the war to end all wars. Ever since November 11th has been the day we honor our veterans. In 1938, then called Armistice Day, became a national holiday. After WII and the Korean War, it was changed to Veterans Day- a day to honor all veterans of every war.
Here at Sunny Street Cafe we’d like to thank our veterans for their service to our country. Without them we wouldn’t have the liberties we do today- freedom of speech, voting rights, freedom of religion, and a safer country.
Thank you for your service, today, and all the other days of the year.
