Birthday parties are SO much fun, and boy did we have fun during our 10th birthday! Thank you to everyone who joined us for our 10 Year Celebration. We can’t believe we have been flipping pancakes for a whole decade. For 10 years we’ve held a commitment to fresh ingredients, good community, and great service.
Service is not just the lovely smiling faces you see when you walk in the door, it’s also giving back to our community. Over the past decade we have raised countless funds for local and national charities. We take being in the “service industry” seriously!
During our 10 Year Celebration we raised funds for the Kids In Need Foundation. The Kids In Need Foundation, a national 501(c)(3) charitable organization founded in 1995, has distributed nearly $900 million in school supplies, directly benefiting 5.4 million students and nearly 200,000 teachers annually. The Kids In Need Foundation’s mission is to ensure that every child is prepared to learn and succeed by providing free school supplies nationally to students most in need.
What an amazing organization! We were able to help fill over 75 backpacks with school supplies. That’s over 75 kids who have a better chance of succeeding in school and beyond. We couldn’t be more thankful for our community and amazing staff pulling together to raise money for such a good cause!
And we didn’t stop there. We also gave away free breakfast for a year to 18 lucky guests, one for each of our restaurants. That’s 52 free meals. That’s a lot of pancakes and eggs. But that also means a lot more smiles, and that’s what life is about, isn’t it?
