Scott A. Moffitt - President

Mr. Moffitt joined Sunny Street Café in 2010 and serves as its President. He has more than 25 years of foodservice experience in franchising, real estate, operations and training. Prior to joining the company he was President of SMI, a diversified restaurant consulting firm from 2008 until 2010. He has also served as Vice President of Real Estate and Franchising for Church's Chicken an Atlanta, GA. based QSR chicken chain from 2006 until 2008; and as Senior Vice President of Franchise Sales for publicly traded CKE Restaurants Inc. the Carpinteria, CA. based operator and franchiser of 3000 Carls' Jr. and Hardee's restaurants from 2004 until 2006. From 1998 until 2004 Mr. Moffitt served as Senior Vice President of Development for Salt Lake City, UT. based Mrs. Fields Famous Brands. Prior to 1998 he held various senior management roles within the restaurant and food service industries. Mr. Moffitt is a graduate of the University of Texas-Dallas and is a Certified Franchise Executive.





 
Michael J. Stasko - Chairman

Restaurant Design & Operations

Mr. Stasko co-founded Sunny Street Café™ and serves as its Chairman. His company Buckeye Peach's, LLC ("Buckeye") is the Area Representative for Sunny Street Café™ for the state of Ohio. Companies affiliated with Buckeye currently own and operate Sunny Street Café™ in Central Ohio. Mr. Stasko has been in the food service industry for more than thirty (30) years. He has been co-owner of Best Restaurant Equipment & Design, Inc., a large Columbus, Ohio-based restaurant design and equipment supplier for nearly twenty (20) years.





 
Michael Stasko Jr. - Director of Business Development

Mr. Stasko joined Buckeye to handle local and statewide marketing for the company. His role quickly expanded, involving him in national marketing, franchise sales, and new product development for Sunny Street Café™. A graduate of the University of Dayton marketing program, Mr. Stasko brings five years of food service experience as well as four years of sales and marketing experience.





 
Mechelle Kern - Accounting

Mechelle Kern has extensive corporate experience in all aspects of finance and administration. She came to Sunny Street Café™ in 2007 with over 16 years of education, profit and nonprofit accounting experience. Mechelle handles payables and receivables, manages record retention, produces financial statements, prepares for and manages annual audit activities, provides internal control processes and reviews operating expenses to determine more cost effective solutions. With her bachelor's degree from Wright State University, she works effectively with franchisees to meet their individual needs and improve systems and processes.





 
Nolan Saunders - Franchise Operations Manager

Mr. Saunders joined Sunny Street Café™ in June of 2008, initially, to oversee training for the company, but his responsibilities now also include all operations and purchasing. A graduate of The Ohio State University, Mr. Saunders brings over 10 years restaurant operations, management and training experience to Sunny Street Café™.





 
Walter McNabb - Corporate Chef

Mr. McNabb brings over 30 years of culinary experience to the Sunny Street Café team. A 1983 graduate of The Culinary Institute of America, he has been a Chef and Executive Chef at restaurants in New York including the Hotel Thayer at West Point Military Academy. Mr. McNabb has managed multiple unit restaurants in New York, Arizona and Florida. He has held Corporate Chef's positions at several major food manufacturers with national distribution. Mr. McNabb is also an active chef member of The Research Chef's Association.




 
Matthew Stasko - Culinary Specialist and Lead Trainer

Matt is the Culinary Specialist and Lead Trainer for Sunny Street Cafe, responsible for food development, kitchen training, and quality control. He began working for the company in 2007 as a lead line cook, quickly taking on BOH training for Ohio, before moving into a national role. He attended The Ohio State University and the Columbus State Community College Hospitality School, and has 6 years of foodservice experience.





 
Maria Swallie - Employee Trainer & Nutrition Specialist

Maria Swallie attended The University of Kentucky and later graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Dietetics. She has been with Sunny Street Café since 2007, where she currently develops & trains new employees in the front of the house. Maria is also the Nutrition Specialist, analyzing the nutritional information for new menu items.
